Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Short Story (Short Story (operator name to be added)) collects, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
• Your stories: the ideas you write and the scripts, pictures, voices and videos made for you.
• Credits and payments: your credit balance and history. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we receive the order and payment IDs and amount, but never your card, UPI PIN or bank details.
• Technical data: basic logs needed to run and secure the Service.

How we use it

• To create your videos, keep your stories and credits, and process purchases.
• To send sign-in links and essential service messages.
• To prevent abuse and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal data.

Who processes your data

To make videos, your story text and generated media are processed by our AI and infrastructure providers (for example for script writing, image generation, voice generation and hosting), and payments by Razorpay. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Retention and deletion

• Your stories are kept until you delete them. Deleting a story removes its episodes and files.
• You can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing [email protected]. Payment records may be kept as required by law.

Credits and refunds

Credit purchases follow our Refund Policy: after credits are used, no refund is provided; a refund is possible within 7 days of purchase only if no credits from that purchase were used.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and your browser’s storage to remember your video options. No advertising trackers.
